Backend Developer

Backend Developer at FirstSense is expected to address the challenges in creating a distributed computing architecture for media streaming and serving. In addition, this role demands for the implementation of access control (NTK), authentication and storage layer to support our backend stack. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in building scalable micro services.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop micro services for access control, authentication, storage etc.
  • Closely work with the DevOps team for the deployment of backend and ML pipeline.
  • Work with the Analytics team for creating respective APIs for serving analytics functions.

Required skillset

Required skillset

  • Experience in backend tech stack and deployment is mandatory.
  • Excellent programming skills in Golang/Java, Python and shell script.
  • Proficient in Web architecture and public clouds (GCP/AWS/Azure).
  • Hands-on with the implementation of authentication and API authorization.
  • NoSQL/SQL database experience is mandatory.
  • Qualification: Bachelors/Masters Computer Science or related domain.
  • Knowledge of Storage frameworks like Minio, DevOps tools and CI/CD practices are strong additions.
